The Expatrio Scholarship 2026 in Germany is a video competition that awards over €40,000 in prizes to international students starting their studies in Germany. With 10 winners selected based on creativity and passion, this scholarship helps reduce financial stress and supports your new life abroad. All you need to do is submit a video answering the following question: “How will your studies in Germany help you make a positive impact for others?”
Aim and Benefits of The Expatrio Scholarship Contest
- First prize: €15,000
- Second prize: €12,000
- Third prize: €9,000
- Prizes for winners from 4th to 10th place incl. rent paid for 6 months, a new laptop, German language lessons, semester contribution fees.
Expatrio Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- You apply for the Expatrio Value Package by September 30th 2026.
- You will start your studies in the Winter Semester 2026.
- You will arrive in Germany and activate your Blocked Account and Health Insurance with Expatrio by October 31st 2026.
- Your video answers the question in either English or German, or is recorded in another language with English or German subtitles.
- Your video is no longer than 2 minutes, is in mp4 format, and does not include any copyrighted content.
Please note: The Scholarship cannot be used to fund your Blocked Account. The prizes will be awarded only after you have arrived in Germany.
