Overview
The LSE Fellowship in Health Policy is a two-year fixed-term academic position designed to support early-career scholars in developing a long-term academic career. The fellowship provides an opportunity to gain experience in teaching and research within the Department of Health Policy, a globally recognized center for excellence in healthcare research, postgraduate education, and executive training. The department is renowned for its contributions to health economics, health services research, healthcare financing, and public health policy, influencing healthcare systems and policy development at both national and international levels. Applicants who have previously held LSE Fellowship positions for a combined total of three years are not eligible to apply.
Academic and Research Responsibilities
- Conducting high-quality research in health policy and related disciplines

Candidate Requirements
- Completion or near completion of a PhD in Health Policy, Health Economics, Health Services Research, or a closely related discipline by the start date of employment
- Evidence of a developing research profile and scholarly contributions in health policy
- Strong communication, teaching, and presentation skills
- Ability to contribute effectively to an inclusive academic learning environment
- Capacity to engage with interdisciplinary research and policy discussions
