ABOUT
The World Health Summit 2026 Stipend and Fellowship Program is a fully funded initiative that enables individuals from low- and middle-income countries, as well as those with lived experience, to attend a major global health conference in Berlin. Scheduled for 11–13 October 2026, the programme aims to promote inclusivity in global health discussions by ensuring diverse perspectives are represented in shaping policies and solutions to pressing health challenges.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a national and resident of a low- or middle-income country (based on World Bank classification 2025–2026), or have relevant lived experience
- Demonstrate active involvement in global health through professional work, advocacy, or community engagement
- Be fluent in English, the official language of the conference
- Be eligible to apply for a short-term Schengen visa
Selection and Evaluation
- Completeness and quality of submission
- Demonstrated impact and engagement in global health
- Strength of motivation and alignment with programme objectives
Participant Expectations
- Attend and participate in all relevant summit activities
- Engage in communication efforts, including content creation such as reports, videos, or social media posts
- Complete a post-event evaluation survey
Important Considerations
- Visa approval is not guaranteed, although support documentation will be provided
- Only specified costs will be reimbursed upon submission of valid receipts
- Additional personal expenses (e.g., hotel extras) are not covered
- Flights will be booked as the most economical direct options
