Overview
University College London (UCL) is seeking a Research Fellow in Health Systems and Policy to join the Global Business School for Health (GBSH), based at the UCL East campus. GBSH is a pioneering institution focused on equipping future healthcare leaders to rethink and transform global health systems. It serves as a hub for cross-disciplinary innovation, uniting academic excellence with practical leadership development across the global health economy.
Roles
-Coordinating a multi-partner international collaboration,
-Contributing to key project workstreams,
-Advancing the wider Health Systems and Policy research agenda at UCL.
-Authoring research manuscripts,
-Contributing to funding applications,
-Organizing research-focused meetings and seminars,
-Convening the Health Systems and Policy thematic faculty cluster.
Requirements:
-Hold a PhD in health systems, health policy, public health, global health, health economics, or a relevant social science discipline.
-Demonstrate a strong background in health systems research with an equity lens, particularly within low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
-A solid understanding of current debates in health systems and policy is essential.
-Be able to contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary research and teaching while aligning with GBSH’s mission of addressing global health disparities.
