Overview 

The Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) will take place from 27-30 April, 2026, in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia. With the goal of centering the leadership and lived experience of feminists, First Nations Leaders, and advocates from the region, Women Deliver is offering scholarships to youth from or based in the Oceanic Pacific, especially for those who may not otherwise be able to join. 

What is Expected from Scholarship Recipient 

  • Active and full participation in the Conference and related activities. Full details to come.

Please note: For participants with disabilities who require a support person, or adolescents under age 18 who need to travel with a guardian, the scholarship also covers expenses for one accompanying person. 

Please Note: It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain the necessary visas for travel, though the organizers can supply supporting documentation and reimburse costs, including long-distance travel to an embassy or consulate if required. 

Who Can Apply 

At this time, scholarships are exclusively available to young people of various identities and backgrounds from or based in the Oceanic Pacific region. Priority will be given to: 

  • Youth under the age of 30 (as of 1 January, 2026) 
  • Community-based activists  
  • Young people from historically marginalized communities, including First Nations and Indigenous individuals, LGBTQIA+ individuals, internally displaced persons and refugees, persons with disabilities, and adolescent girls and women from under-resourced populations 
  • Youth who haven’t previously received a Women Deliver Conference Scholarship. 

Please Note: Per the Pacific Community (SPC), the Oceanic Pacific region is composed of these 24 countries and territories: American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Wallis and Futuna. 

Selection Criteria 

  • Applications will be reviewed by members of the WD2026 Coordination Group, Regional Steering Committee, and Women Deliver staff. 
  • Selection is based on the strength and clarity of responses provided in the application form. All applicants will be notified by November 2025.

  • Complete Your Applicant Profile: Once signed in, you will be asked to provide your personal and contact information. This step is required before accessing the full application. 
  • Access and Complete the Application Form: After completing your Applicant Profile, you will be directed to the scholarship application form. Here you will find a series of essay questions and document uploads. 

Please complete the form thoughtfully and thoroughly. This is your opportunity to share your story, describe your advocacy journey, and articulate your vision for a more gender equal future.
